The Age of Aquarius

When we scheduled the c-section for this baby, I felt a little odd about it. It just feels so wrong to "play God" and choose when your baby will be born. Also adding to the guilt is that the date that we decided upon is based entirely around a trip that my doctor is taking (she's leaving for her trip the day after my surgery). Adding insult to injury is that the day that we're going with is on the cusp between two astrological signs. In essence, we're forcing him to be an Aquarius by bringing him into the world a few days early (he'd have been a Pisces, if born Feb 20).

I was just looking at a character analysis of Aquarians and this is how they're described:

Aquarius and Temperament:

Aquarius tend to be rebels just for the sake of having their own way. Their stubbornness sometimes causes their failure, they will continue to do something their way even though others have proved it is wrong, they are very smart people and know it is wrong but they will continue just because it is their way, they are very fixed in opinion and stubborn when confronted. Despite their stubbornness and fixed opinion, they will never impose their ideas on others, they have respect for everybody's differences.

Now that this baby is clearly running the show around here, by making us play this silly little game of "of today the day?" with him, I feel confident that we picked the right sign for him and that he's an Aquarius afterall.
