Still rockin the bullets:
Anna's Latest and Greatest Signs:- puppy dog
- peas
- berries (did I already tell you about that one? Am too lazy to look back and see)
- "O's" for Cherrios
- cat
- bird
Anna's New Favorite Foods:- Frozen peas (and most decidedly NOT canned peas, thankyouverymuch)
- Nectarines
- Blueberries
And, on the blueberry front, girlfriend loves her blueberries sooooo much that her poop is even blue. "Violet! You're turning violet, Violet!"
Anna's New Tricks:- Smelling flowers: When she sees flowers, either outside or in a book, she wrinkles up her nose and snorts/sniffs
- Gives kisses: Most of the time, they're more of the, ahem, "French" variety though
- Shakes her head "no" when she throws her food on the floor
- Has learned a whole new slew of animal sounds, including: cow, sheep and our old favorite, rooster (ask for a demonstration the next time you see her)
Also, noteworthy news: I put on my Crocs yesterday to tromp through the yard and feed my birds when noticed that the left one was more juicy on the inside than normal. I mentally counted back to when our last rain had been then noted that, even if it had rained the day before, the Crocs were under the porch anyway. After walking in the juicy for awhile, I decided to slip off the shoe to sniff my foot (while still standing, btw...which was not a pretty site, lemmetellya) and yep, the juiciness was indeed the handiwork of "Tabby" the resident stray cat who enjoys doing all things urine. I was quite impressed with his inventiveness and am still curious as to how he managed to spray right in the little holes of my Crocs. This latest violation via urine is nothing compared to his best performance to date: when he got into Anna's stroller and sprayed right where she sits. That was a good lesson in why you never leave a baby's stroller outside overnight.
