Yesterday, while running errands, we were sitting at a stop light, when I glanced over at a large apartment complex nearby. I happened to look up at a 3rd floor apartment balcony and saw that it was full of plastic, Little Tykes-style playground equipment (slides, climbing areas, etc). I was suddenly grateful for the large, secure backyard that we have at home, for Anna to run around in.

Wide Open Spaces
