There's been a lot of excitement around here lately! Here's a photo compilation of the past week (very Anna-centric, as you'll see):
| Our last official "Mommy/Anna" day of the summer. We went to the movies . |
| Finally, a successful visit to the dentist! No sedation necessary! |
| Beginning of school activities--this was Anna's Meet the Teacher night at her new school |
| Oh yeah, and I had a nice visit with Bob Schneider before his concert the other night. Jack's little brain about burst into a million pieces though when he saw this picture the next morning. He then grilled me on Bob's set list and what instruments he played. Jack was very upset that I failed to film a video of the show though. |
| A visit to the Herrmann Park duck (pigeon) pond. This picture and the next showcase a principal difference between my two children. Above is Jack, running wildly among the pigeons, trying to scare them as much as humanly possible. |
| And, here's Anna, doing her best pigeon imitation, in the hopes that the pigeons will accept her as one of their own (that's a ratty, disease-ridden pigeon feather that she's holding as a make-shift tail, in case you're wondering). |
| And finally, today was the official first day of school! She was so terribly excited! |
| There goes my baby, off to class. Ouch, that hurt a little. |
| All settled into her new spot and ready to get started! |
