Ordinary Sunday

When most of us were growing up, the only time anyone took home movies was for special occasions: Christmas, birthdays, etc. While we do film those occasions around here, I also like to whip out the camera and film ordinary things as well. Yesterday, Anna's best friend and her parents came over to hang out in our yard, grill some food and have some fun. The girls fought intermittently, as two year olds are want to do, but called a truce long enough to enjoy some fun in the wagon.

I really feel that, in the years to come, we'll cherish movies like this even more than the canned, predictable Christmas and birthday videos.
