A beautiful day for a birthday

Kevin's birthday was Sunday and we celebrated outside since we also received our first cool front of the season. The weather was delightful so we watched the Texans football game outside.

Anna had to be convinced to wear her Texans shirt. She's a die-hard Dolphins fan ("Dolphins are the nicest animals") but, since it was Daddy's birthday, she agreed to wear his team colors. We had to do some significant "zuzshing" to make it acceptable and properly fancy. 

After the Texans game, the kids (and Kevin) played some football of their own. Kevin wiped the field with those kids. It was pathetic, really. Kevin said that if the NFL was made up of 2 to 5 year olds, he'd be a first round draft pick.
